Now based in Vienna, Austria, originally hailing from The Bahamas, I’m a filmmaker with over a decade of experience. While I primarily identify as a Cinematographer, I’m also a highly proficient Editor, with experience directing, writing, production, lighting, and making coffee.
I first cut my teeth as an editor in my early teens - reimagining some of my favourite films as music videos. Later, I made terrible short films with friends. After graduating high school, my first ‘job’ was as an extra on what was then the biggest budget films ever made - Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3. A few days in, I was offered a full time role as a photo double for a major character. Over the next several months, I soaked up everything, absorbing advice from every cast & crew member who would take the time. It was this bustling set and these enthusiastic people that truly fostered my passion.
I would then go on to work at a local production house as an intern, eventually becoming the lead camera operator, editor and head of post-production. The company evolved to become a full-service advertising agency, growing from a company of 4 to 20. Together we actively changed the landscape of advertising and media production in The Bahamas. After five great years, I longed for something new and grew tired of home. I decided to move to Austria, where I joined yet another upstart production firm. Taking what started as small group specialising in event videos, to a fully-fledged, locally respected agency. Here I worked as DoP and lead cutter for over three years before deciding to pursue new endeavours.
From TV commercials, music videos and concerts, to corporate, documentary and narrative films, I appreciate the different challenges that each project brings.
